Abstract
1280655 Cements RESEARCH CORP 13 Nov 1969 [27 March 1969] 55588/69 Heading C1H A freely workable expanding cement paste is obtained by grinding clinker with at least (in parts/part cement) 0À0025 of an aid to a surface area 6000-9000 cm.<SP>2</SP>/g., then mixing with at least 0À0025 of alkali metal or alkaline earth metal lignosulphonate, and finally with 0À2 of water containing at least 0À0025 of alkali metal carbonate. Specified grinding aids are Et 2 CO 3 , polyglycol derivatives, sulphonates, alkyl NH 4 salts, and a mixture of amine salt isopropanol and a sulphosuccinate.
