Sectional boilers.-In a boiler of the kind described in Specification 103,948, the tubes 4 at the sides of the fire-box have slanting ribs 6 or grooves forming flue passages 21 between the fire-box and the side flues 9. Ribs or projections 8 at the bottom of the tubes prevent air from passing directly into the side flues.
