Abstract

1278520 Slide projector GANZ & CO 26 Sept 1969 [27 Sept 1968] 47557/69 Heading G2A A slide projector with two magazines 2 movable automatically to a position from which a preselected slide can be removed and projected comprises a binary coded control member 9, associated with each magazine 2, having conducting and non- conducting areas 13, 14 so that each slide has an associated code. A control member 9 is fixed below each magazine and is contacted by five contact springs 17 on member 16, movable with magazines 2 and contacted on its reverse side by fixed member 15 having five conductive strips 19. The magazines 2 are driven by screw-shaft 5 and reversible motor 21 and the chosen slide is automatically moved by pusher arm 24 from one magazine 2 to the projection position while the slide therein is pushed into the other magazine 2. A slide is chosen by means of a selector wheel (not shown) or by a number of selector buttons which activate relays (W 1 -W 5 ) Fig.6 (not shown) whereupon magazine 2 is driven in the appropriate direction until the selected slide is adjacent the pusher arm 24.
