Abstract

The programmed slide projection system uses a coded data support (2). This support (2) is fixed to the slide magazine (1). The slide magazine may be circular or rectilinear. The support (2) may also be fixed to film strip. At each slide position the data support receives a code. This code permits control of the slide projector. A reading head is placed on the projector opposite coding positions which are displaced when the slide magazine is moved through the projector by the transport mechanism. The coding support can be incorporated on the magazine during manufacture. For existing magazines the support can be glued to the magazine. In the case of a disc magazine or film strip the coding can be printed or on photographically applied.
