Abstract

1278083 Ski figure with wheels METTOY CO Ltd 19 April 1971 [17 March 1970] 12758/ 70 Heading A6S A toy ski figure wherein the centre of gravity is low comprises a relatively heavy base portion including simulated skis and provided with free running wheels and a relatively lightweight upper portion including at least the major portion of the body of the skier e.g. the portion above the knees. The figure may have articulated joints at knees, thigh and arms. The running wheels may form part of a detachable chassis unit which may be clipped onto the skis such as those described in Specification 1278082. The base portion may be diecast from a heavy metal such as a zinc alloy and the upper portion may be moulded from a plastics material. The figure is preferably used on flexible strip tracks and can be made to perform jumps.
