127,336. Caterpillar Tractors, Ltd., (Holt Manufacturing Co.). April 24, 1917. Endless - track vehicles.-In vehicles of the kind described in Specifications 19774/13 and 19691/14, e a c h chain 10 (and the corresponding sprockets 11 and idlers 12) is of dual formation. The separate links of each chain comprise a base-plate 20, to which the wide tread shoe is bolted, a web 15 having a rail-head 22 for the track-rollers 13, a reinforcing web 16, and a spacing bush 17 which receives the pivot-pin 19 and engages the sprocket teeth. The roller-truck is in two parts a, b pivoted at c, the rollers 13 having their rail flanges arranged alternately on either side of the track-rail 22.
