[Also in Division A2] A hopper for strewing powdery material has a bottom 4 which is resiliently mounted by a support 3 so that it can be vibrated by a motordriven cam 8 to discharge material through an adjustable slit 5. To adjust the slit 5 a wall la of the hopper is pivoted by a screw 25. The position of the cam and motor is adjusted by a screw and nut 20, 21. The cam may have several steps instead of the one shown.
