[Also in division C3] The invention comprises the reaction product of 5-70 parts by weight of an organostannonic acid and 95-30 parts by weight of a carboxylic acid anhydride. Exemplified are various reaction products of butylstannonic acid (BSA), and the Diels-Alder adduct of methylcyclopentadiene and maleic anhydride (known as "Nadic" (Registered Trade Mark) Methyl Anhydride) also BSA with a polyazelaic polyanhydride, although many useful anhydrides are specified. These reaction products are used as hardening agents for epoxy resins having ] ,2-epoxy groups (see Division C3).
