Abstract

A support comprising end members 1 interconnected by longitudinal members 4, 4<SP>1</SP> is provided with holes (5), Fig. 1 (not shown) to receive pivot pins (9), Fig.4 (not shown) on an upper member comprising a table top 6 and a cushion 7 secured back-to-back so that the upper member can be pivoted to bring the table top or cushion uppermost. When the table top 6 is uppermost, it is locked to the support by pins 15, or by a plunger (17), Figs. 9-11, 12-13, (not shown), spring biased into engagement with the top 6, the plunger being held in a retracted position to release the table top either by a stop pin (22), Figs. 9-11, (not shown), or a cam (25), Figs. 12, 13, (not shown). The parts of the support are tubular and may be welded together; or a rivet or both (12, 13), Figs. 6, 8 (not shown) may be passed through a leg 2 and a lug (10) on a member 4 inserted therein or shaped so as to fit therearound. Top 6 may have a downwardly or upwardly projecting rim (28), Fig. 14 (not shown). A tray 29 is secured by clips to members 4.
