Headings C3P and C3R. [Also in Division C5] A concentrate suitable for use in preparing an aqueous lubricant composition comprises (1) a linear polypropylene glycol or ethylene oxide/ propylene oxide copolymer of M.W. 2000-9000 and (2) a polyvinyl pyrrolidone or triethanolamine phosphate. The concentrate may also include a water-soluble cellulose ether containing 100-500 structural units. In the examples the corrosion inhibitors benzoic acid, triethanolamine and morpholine are included.
