Abstract

1,271,831. Masted lift trucks. DSO BALKANCAR. 12 June, 1969, No. 29922/69. Heading B8H. The mast assembly 6 of a lift truck is tiltably mounted on a transverse shaft 7 and is slidable therealong. A tubular member 14 is secured to the primary mast section 6a and is slidable along the shaft 7 under the action of a double-acting hydraulic ram 1. The mast assembly is fitted about the shaft 7 by means of an hydraulic ram 10, the piston-rod of which is secured to a member 9 which supports a shaft 8 extending through a tubular member 16 secured to the fixed mast section 6a. Axial stops are provided on the sides of the member 9 to safeguard the piston-rod of the ram 10 from lateral loading.
