Abstract
1,270,304. Making garments. G. MENUT. 15 April, 1969 [16 April, 1968; 24 March, 1969], No. 19290/69. Heading A3V. A fitted garment comprises a back portion A, front portion B and sleeve portions C which are joined along seam lines a-a', b-b' which, when the garment is worn by a human for which it was made and with their arms raised, correspond substantially to those edge portions of the deltoid muscles which are contiguous with the trapezius muscles and with the pectoral muscles. The garment may have long or short sleeves with the inner arm dimension to the armpit of lesser length than the outer arm dimension to the shoulder. The embodiment of Fig. 12 illustrates a garment in which the sleeves are formed of portions H' integral with the front and back portions and the back is formed of a pair of substantially triangular parts G, G adapted to be joined along a seam G<SP>3</SP> corresponding to the wearer's spine. Parts F correspond substantially to the wearer's deltoid muscles.
