[Also in Division C7] Mild steel is formed with an electroless nickel coating for subsequent vitreous enamelling, and prior to enamelling, the nickel may be given a protective coating of calcium resinate in an aromatic or aliphatic solvent, shellac in alcohol or an acrylic resin in, e.g. xylol or chloroform.
