Abstract

1,263,107. Rugby balls. S. BAHARY. 4 Aug., 1969, No. 38933/69. Addition to 1,145,115. Heading A6D. [Also in Division B8] A container for ice cream comprises a moulded hollow plastics ellipsoid divided into large and small portions 1, 2 along a plane normal to the major axis and snap-fastened together. The small portion constitutes a cap and is provided with an inwardly projecting rim flange 12 which rides over a frusto-conical surface 7 on the rim 6 of the large portion and snaps into a groove 9. The smaller portion is provided with a removable pull tag 3 and the exterior of the container is formed with longitudinal grooves 13 and stitch markings to simulate a rugby football. After consumption of the contents, the container may be utilised as a ball.
