Abstract

126,231. Leask, T. Sept. 10, 1918. Sinuous-tube propellers.-In a boat or toy having the rear portion constructed in jointed sections forming a sinuous propeller, these sections are operated from a motor connected to a slotted pivoted lever m having a bar r to the ends of which are attached guided wires or chains s and secured to one of the sections a - - f. Springs k are placed between each section and between the section a and the body of the boat &c. The sinuous movement may be regulated by a longitudinal flexible bar (not shown). The various sections are telescoped together and are fitted with water-tight flexible connexions.
