Abstract

1,262,296. Moulded trays. IMPERIAL CHEMICAL INDUSTRIES Ltd. 23 Dec., 1969 [1 Jan., 1969], No. 60/69. Heading B8P. [Also in Division B5] In an injection moulded laminar food tray having an integrally moulded base and walls at least the base consists of a core of a foamed crystalline polymer of an a-olefine surrounded by an unfoamed skin of a polymer of 4-methylpentene-1. The foamed core may be in the base only of the tray or in the side walls as well. The tray may be used for heating food under a grill. Examples of suitable materials are given. Reference has been directed by the Comptroller to Specification 1,156,217.
