Abstract

A moulding compsn. comprises a blend of a vegetable material (I) and a thermoplastic (II), homogenised with an extruder. The compsn. is impermeable and can be immersed in (sea)water without undergoing deterioration. It is used for moulding e.g. cases, shelves for conditioning foodstuffs, toys, furniture, panels, etc.
