Abstract

Double forced circulation fermentation for fermentation with aerobic or anaerobic micro-organisms, by circulating a fermentation liquor in closed circuit within a fermentation appts., the foam on the surface of the liquid being enriched and circulated along an external path outside the fermentation appts. In particular, compressed air is used to drive the liq. into a tunnel provided with a sleeve in a turbulent circulating flow and to drive it out of the sleeve.
