126,064. Hawthorn, Leslie, & Co., R. & W., and Annable, J. J. Nov. 24, 1916. Feed-water, supplying and controlling. - Fig. 11 shows an air separator tank 1 with its related parts. The water and air mixture from the pump 46 are supplied by a pipe 47, and the separated water passes from the outlet 19 by a pipe 53 to a grease separator 54 from which a pipe 55 leads to the feed-water heater 56. Any water escaping through air valves passes by pipes 48 to a funnel 49 which discharges by a pipe 50 into a filter 51 in the feed tank 52. Any air separating in the grease extractor 54 is evacuated by a valve 57 set so that a constant dripping occurs through a pipe 58 into the funnel 49.
