Abstract

[Also in Division E2] A device for the releasable attachment of a wide view mirror 1 to a smaller rear view mirror 2 comprises a plate 4 with bent over flaps 5 for engaging the wide view mirror 1 and with slidable members 9 which have angled end portions 15 which are urged to grip the rear view mirror 2 by helical springs 14. The members 9 extend through slots 8 in a recessed portion of the plate. A guide bolt 11 extends from the recessed portion into an elongated slot 12 in each member 9. The angled end portions 15 are coated by a layer of plastics material to reduce friction with the mirror.
