1,260,195. Unidirectionally solidified Ni-base superalloys. UNITED AIRCRAFT CORP. April 16, 1969 [May 1, 1968], No.19539/69. Heading C7A. A Ni base superalloy comprising a dispersion of Ni 3 (Al 1 Ti 1 Nb) in a Ni-Cr solid solution matrix has its C content limited to 0À01% max. and is unidirectionally solidified to form a single crystal or columnar-grained article. The superalloy preferably comprises:- the balance, apart from the 0-0À01% C, being Ni.
