[Also in Division B3] A movable inner cutter for a dry shaver includes a cutter component 1 having a side portion for intersecting a cutting surface 4 coated with hard powdered material 3 such as diamond or sapphire dust. Semi-annular cutter components 1, which may be of relatively soft material, e.g. plastics, may be clamped in a blade block frame 2 for co-operation with a fixed counter cutter formed by a perforated foil, Fig. 3 (not shown), a layer of material 3 being applied to each face of the components 1 prior to honing of their outer surfaces to produce cutting edges.
