A differential amplifier comprises input MOSTs 21, 211 loaded by further MOSTs 22, 22<SP>1</SP> and an output stage comprising junction transistors 23, 23<SP>1</SP> which are also loaded by MOSTs 24, 24<SP>1</SP>, the whole being formed as an integrated circuit. The amplifier is supplied via another MOST 20 acting as a constant current source which is adjusted by V c . Protective diodes dp may be provided. The inputs e1, e2 are not related to each other; one of them may be a reference potential. The outputs S1, S2 are the same but of opposite phases, and are equal to the gain times the difference between e1 and e2.
