Abstract

1,255,808. Hair clippers. JOHN OSTER MFG. CO. 31 Dec., 1968 [5 July, 1968], No. 61984/68. Heading B4B. [Also in Division H2] A hair clipper comprises a two-part plastic casing, the lower part of which has secured thereto a frame 50 carrying an oscillating motor 30 (see Division H2), the pivoted armature 32 of which actuates a cutter 21 co-operating with a comb 19, the relative positions of which may be adjusted by a lever 28. Frame 50 also carries a switch 62 for the motor which can be actuated externally of the casing by a slide 65 and control member 64. A foam pad 42 is provided for preventing entry of dust into the motor.
