Abstract

1,255,674. Snap-action switches. A. F. BULGIN & CO. Ltd. 5 June, 1970 [10 June, 1969], No. 29300/69. Heading H1N. In an electric switch, the movable bridging contacts 14, 16 are resilient, are shaped as shown and are located in chambers 28 in holder 12 and legs 24 project through apertures 30, contacts 14, 16 being held in by the dimensions of apertures 30 and base portions 26. The contacts are inserted into chamber 28 through openings 34. The switch shown is a toggleoperated snap-switch, the snap-spring engaging the centre portion of holder 12, Fig. 1 (not shown). It is stated the insertion may be used in a rotary switch (no details given).
