Abstract

1,254,344. Trioxane. PERSTORP A.B. 18 April, 1969 [19 April, 1968], No. 19890/69. Heading C2C. [Also in Division C3] Crude trioxane is purified by subjecting it to distillation at atmospheric pressure and at a temperature not above 120‹ C., feeding the trioxane residue or bottom product through a molecular sieve, e.g. a synthetic zeolite, and collecting the effluent from the molecular sieve in a moisture-free atmosphere.
