Abstract

1,253,507. Load responsive braking systems. ALFRED TEVES G.m.b.H. 10 Sept., 1970 [16 Sept., 1969], No. 43285/70. Heading F2F. A brake force control device connected in the pressure line between the master cylinder and the wheel cylinder of a vehicle fluid brake system to control the braking force in dependence on changes of axle loading has a stepped piston 3 with a longitudinal bore 7 containing a valve closure member 8 co-operating with a seat 9, the point of response of the valve being determined by prestressed springs 14 in a tube 14 closed by a member 16 held in place by punching the tube 1 on to the member 16 at several places uniformly distributed around its periphery.
