A steering linkage comprises a track rod 10 having a ball 6 at each end the centre of which lies on the longitudinal axis 23 of the track rod, each of the balls being indented in a housing 5 from which a stud 4 projects to connect the housing to an adjacent steering member, e.g., the rack 1 of steering gear (20), Fig. 2 (not shown). The housing at the opposite end is connected to a steering arm 16, 17. Bearing members 11, 12 are made of resilient material, e.g., polyurethane.
