1,252,811. Gas scrubber. KANAGAWA PREFECTURAL GOVERNMENT and NIPPON KOKAN K.K. 26 Feb., 1969 [1 March, 1968 (2)], No. 10328/69. Heading B1R. In a gas scrubber gas entering at 7 is sprayed with liquid in a zone 3 and then passed through removably mounted mesh screens 5 irrigated with liquid, a pad 9 to remove liquid droplets and an outlet 10. In another embodiment the gas is passed in parallel through two sets of mesh screens each irrigated with liquid.
