The radial needle bearing disclosed in parent Specification is modified in that the peripheral edge 11 of the washer 8 and a plane radial abutment face 9 for the needles are axially offset from each other. The washer 8 may alternatively be given an L-, S-, or U-shaped profile. The edge 11 may be discontinuous.
