Abstract

1,251,425. Scale conversion device. F. HARRISON. March 28, 1969, No. 16309/69. Headings G1J and G1K. A scale conversion device for use with an indicating instrument comprises a laminar sheet of transparent plastics material for application to the glass front of the instrument, the sheet having calibration markings thereon and being provided with an adhesive surface protected by a removable backing sheet. In an embodiment, the sheet is in the form of a disc calibrated in kilometres per hour for application to a speedometer calibrated in miles per hour, the disc and speedometer markings being of contrasting colours.
