Sheathing.-Grain wood poles for electrical conductors and for use as stakes and piles are partially or wholly covered by a composition containing sawdust, calcined magnesia, talc, quartz sand, and chloride of magnesium. The example given contains 18 parts of sawdust, 7 parts of calcined magnesia, 4 parts of talc, and 1 part of quartz sand " with chloride of magnesium of 25‹ B."
