Abstract

1,247,183. Reflectors; drip trays. ENGLISH ELECTRIC CO. Ltd. 14 Jan., 1969 [18 Jan., 1968], No. 2705/68. Heading F4W. An electric cooker has a hot plate 3 with boiling rings 4, a spillage tray 1 below the hot plate and at least one reflector 6 located below a boiling ring and supported on the spillage tray by downwardly extending means on the reflector engaging an upstanding boss 5 formed on the spillage tray. As shown, bosses 5 beneath each boiling ring 4 locate dished reflectors 6. The reflectors 6 may be supported on annular flanges 7 cut away at 8 to allow air to pass between the reflectors and their locating bosses or may be supported on lugs depending from the reflector and engaging the locating boss 5.
