Abstract
734,865. Cooking-vessels. NODEN, T. J. Dec. 4, 1953 [Dec. 11, 1952], No. 31343/52. Class 66. A device for supporting one saucepan within another of the kind comprising an annular stamping having a dependent flange for seating on the rim of the outer saucepan and a central aperture K, Fig. 2, in which the inner saucepan is seated, is provided with means for supporting the inner saucepan at varying heights with respect to the outer saucepan. As shown the support comprises a stirrup R, Fig. 3, having notches T in its vertical limbs which engage with the edges of slots S cut in the periphery of the central aperture K. The inner periphery of the aperture K may be curved downwardly to return condensation, and may be radially slotted as at B to permit the aperture K to be adjusted for slightly differing sizes of inner vessels. Specification 4369/10, [Class 66], is referred to.
