Abstract

1,246,520. Electrostatic separators. INTERELECTRIC SACHSELN A.G. 25 Nov., 1969 [25 Nov., 1968], No. 57700/69. Heading B2J. A perforated electrode for an electrostatic separator is formed by electro-plating on a sheet-like support layer 1 a thinner layer of a material 3 which is more resistant to burning than the material of the support layer. The support layer may be copper, nickel or iron and the electro-plated layer may consist of titanium, tantalium, molybdenum, platinum, tungsten or carbon and may have a thickness of less than 10 microns. A number of electroplated layers may be formed between a number of support layers.
