Abstract

1,246,233. Forming lead accumulator plates. TUDOR A.B. 13 Feb., 1970 [4 March, 1969], No. 6981/70. Heading H1B. In the electrolytic formation of battery plates the point of contact between an electrical conductor and a plate is kept free of acid by a stream of a gas such as air. As shown in Fig. 1 the lid 3 of the formation vessel has air ducts 4 from which air is led by branches 5 to the point of contact between conductor 2 and plate lug 1.
