A display stand comprises a vertical tube 4, Fig. 2, rotatably mounted on a wheeled support 1, and vertical wall elements 6, comprising sheet 6a, Fig. 5 (6b), Fig. 6 (not shown) or frames (6c), Fig.4 (not shown) and provided with circular, elongated or square holes 7, releasably mounted on tube 4 by hooks 8, Fig. 5, on elements 6 engaging slots 5 in tube 4. Wall elements 6 are retained at fixed angular positions around the tube by engaging in slots 11 in vertically swingable arms 10 at their upper ends and in grooves 17 in a plate 16 at their lower ends. Arms 10 may be mounted directly on tube 4 Fig. 1 (not shown) or on an intermediate cap 12, Fig. 2, and may be angularly adjustable there around. In a modification, shelves in the form of circle sectors (42), Figs. 22-4 (not shown) may be mounted between the wall elements 6. A headed pin (45) on each sector passes through a slot (43) in the wall element 6 and a slot (46) in the adjacent sector (42), and the inner ends of the sectors are inserted between plates (48) on a rotatable square-section post (30). At least one shelf element may be mounted between adjacent wall elements 6 by brackets 18, Fig. 13, provided with hooks 21 for mounting in the holes 7. The shelf element comprises a solid sector 15 Fig. 11 (not shown) or a wire basket 23, Fig. 12, and a screw (2 and 5), Fig. 15 (not shown) or a pin 26 on each outer corner of the shelf element engages in a hole 24 in the bracket. A tongue 27, which is provided on portion 19 or 20 of the bracket, retains the inner end of the shelf element, and may engage in a notch (28), Fig. 11 (not shown) thereof. Portion 20 may have an upwardly bent outer retaining portion. Another form of display stand, Fig. 17, comprises a square section post 30 formed from relatively rotatable sections 30a, b, c, and vertical brackets 31 having hooks 32 engaged in slots 33 of the post. A wire basket 34 rests on positions 37 of the brackets and has hooks 35 engaged in slots 36 of the post. Four brackets (31<SP>1</SP>), Fig. 20 (not shown) may be welded to a square-section sleeve (38) retained at a desired level on post 30 by hooks (39), Fig. 21 (not shown). The wire basket 23 of Fig. 12 is mounted on these brackets, its inner end retained between plates (40) and its pins 26 received in holes in portions 37.
