[Also in Division B3] An improvement or modification of the gun for cutting and stripping wires and for producing wire-wrap joints described in the parent Specification is characterized in that the cutting edge 3 of the lever knife 2 is provided with a notch 7 terminating in a sector-shaped portion 8. The width of the notch corresponds to the diameter of the wire 4 without the insulation 5 and the sector-shaped portion 8 prevents jamming of the insulation in the notch during the stripping process. The cutting edge 3 is provided with a hollowed-out portion 9 on the side away from the wrapper pin projection 6.
