Abstract

1,243,578. Coated abrasive products. CARBORUNDUM CO. Ltd. 20 April, 1970 [19 May, 1969], No. 25303/69. Heading C4V. A coated abrasive article comprises a backing material to which adhesive grains are adhered, a size coat and a supersize coat comprising polyvinyl acetate. The polyvinyl acetate may be plasticized and the backing may be paper. The adhesive may be hide glue, the abrasive particles are aluminium oxide and the size coat a liquid phenolic resin.
