1,241,518. Translucent blocks; glazing. EDILGLASS S.p.A. 12 Feb., 1969, No. 7490/69. Headings E1B and E1R. Each block used in the construction of translucent walls comprises a moulded or cast frame of e.g. filing, ceramic or concrete matenial, defining an inner space which is closed by a sheet 3 of translucent material mounted in the frame by means of an elastically deformable packing strip 6. The frame is provided with a peripheral groove for accommodating grout or reinforcing elements. The sheet 3 may take the form of a hollow body (Fig. 3).
