Abstract

1,241,140. Dry shavers. PHILIPS ELECTRONIC & ASSOCIATED INDUSTRIES Ltd. 23 July, 1969 [26 July, 1968], No. 37078/69. Heading B4B. A coupling member 3 for use in a dry shaver having a rotatable cutter 1 provided with a socket 6, the coupling being formed with convexly curved surfaces 10, 11 adapted to bear against corresponding opposed surfaces of the socket. The cutter is formed from a plate 4 having a plurality of blades around its periphery and having secured thereto a plate 7 against which an end 8 of the coupling abuts. The arrangement permits the cutter to tilt relative to the axis of the coupling during rotation of the latter.
