Abstract
1,237,909. Window and shutters mounting therefor. J. C. R. JD'HOTMAN DE VILLIERS. 24 Oct., 1968, No. 50554/68. Heading E1J. A window comprises a rectangular casement with rails 22, 23 and hinged about, e.g. a vertical axis for opening and closing movement in a recess in a wall or within a frame which may be constituted partly by a mullion, the rails 22 and 23 having integral therewith opposing channels 24, 25 with a shutter panel 19 slid therein, when the casement is open, so that when the casement is closed into the recess in a wall or within the frame, the shutter 19 is prevented from being withdrawn from the casement.
