Abstract

1,237,406. Two-part couplings. FERRANTI Ltd. 25 July, 1969 [27 July, 1968], No. 35976/68. Heading H2E. Contacts 21 of a printed circuit edge connector are latched in position by resilient tongues 17, integral with the body and located in apertures 18 therein, each having a shoulder 17<SP>1</SP> to engage an aperture 20 in the contact. A contact may be freed with a wedge-shaped tool 26. Insertion of each contact is limited by a shoulder 19. Laterial projections 24 at the ends of the contacts are pre-loaded behind flanges on the dividing walls in the casing.
