Abstract

1,237,331. Spray-printing apparatus. TEXTILMASCHINENBAU ZITTAU VEB. 28 Aug., 1969, No. 42892/69. Addition to 1,160,187. Heading B6C. In a machine in which a continuously moving web 16 is printed on by spray nozzles 2-7 while supported on a table 8, a service platform 20 is carried by the table 8 and the table 8 is tilted, during servicing of the nozzles 2-7, in dependence on the position of the platform 20, as determined by limit switches 21-25, relative to the nozzles 2-7. A movable safety guard may be provided on the frame of the machine, and be fitted with limit switches which prevent access to the table 8 except when the table 8 is tilted to one particular position, and also prevent movement of the table while the guard is out of its blocking position.
