A dough moulding composition comprises a thermosetting resin, a filler, a catalyst for the thermosetting resin and a reinforcement which consists of staple carbon filaments. Suitable resins are unsaturated polyester resins, epoxy resins and prepolymers of diallyl phthalate. The filaments are preferably prepared by carbonizing or graphitizing polyacrylonitrile filaments. In the example the composition contains an unsaturated polyester resin, benzoyl peroxide, calcium carbonate and carbon filaments.
