Abstract
1,236,074. Fluidics construction. PITNEYBOWES Inc. 3 May, 1968 [4 May, 1967], No. 1735/71. Divided out of 1,236,073. Heading G4P. A composite assembly of fluidic elements comprises a relatively thick plate 12 whose upper surface is grooved 20, 28, 34 &c. to define a plurality of fluidic elements, a relatively thin sheet 50 of flexible but non-compressible plastic material disposed over the grooved surface and having communication holes at predetermined locations, a relatively thick circuit layer 56 of resilient, compressible, rubber-like material disposed over the flexible sheet and having a plurality of circuit channels 68, 70 formed therein, and means, such as rivets, for securing the layers together. The detailed description is substantially the same as that of Specification 1,236,073.
