1,235,090. Utilizing energy of radiations. BAUMGARTNER FRERES S.A. 5 May, 1970 [7 May, 1969], No. 21560/70. Heading G6P. A miniaturized electric source comprises a beta-ray emitter, 2, and a steel collector, 4. The emitter, 2, is a compound of tritium and lithium mounted on a metal disc, 1, and plastics material, 3, electrically insulates the emitter from the collector. A graphite layer 5, serves to prevent the reflection of electrons back into the emitter 2 from the collector 4.
