No.62524/69. Heading G1N. A pressure transducer comprises abar 3, Fig. 1, stretched between two similar Bourdon tubes 2 supplied with a fluid via tubes 11, 4, 5 whose pressure is to be determined, whereby the tension in the bar 3 varies with expansion of tubes 2 and is measured by its natural resonant oscillation frequency, established with the aid of a driver electromagnet 6 and pick-ups 7. Alternatively electromagnet 6 is fed periodic short pulses and in the intervals acts as a pick-up member. The upper ends of tubes 2 are fixed in a mounting block 1 and the other ends loaded with weights 9 to adjust the resonant frequency range.
