Abstract

1,234,770. Fluid control valve. HALLTHERMOTANK INTERNATIONAL Ltd. 17 Oct., 1968 [25 Sept., 1967], No. 43469/67. Heading F2V. A fluid control valve comprises a supporting member 15 which is welded or brazed to the valve body 1. The valve seat 6 is made of mild steel and may have a single or multiple knife edge profile. The valve head 22 is made of aluminium alloy and is movable slightly relative to the spindle 17. It is held in place on the spindle 17 by a circlip 26 and urged away from the spindle by a spring 29.
