[Also in Division B8] Pressure-sensitive adhesive sheets, from which labels can be cut, comprise an adhesive-coated base sheet (e.g. paper, plastics, fabric, metal) provided with a release liner; the liner is provided with localized incisions which are so spaced that the liner can be removed in a single piece. The incisions terminate with at least one edge, preferably both, away from the edges of the sheet, and may be disposed diagonally or parallel to the edges.
